Noebel, famous for his criticism of rock and roll, asks supporters for donations to distribute Noebel's anti-abortion book "The Slaughter of the Innocent." The American Christian College was founded by Billy James Hargis. It closed in 1977, 3 years after several students accused Hargis of sexual misconduct.

Daigle became pregnant with her partner, Jean-Guy Tremblay in 1989. She wanted to obtain an abortion, but Tremblay sought an injunction to prevent it, claiming he was protecting the fetus's right to life. The case went to the Supreme Court of Canada, who ruled that a fetus was not legally a person, and therefore men could not file injunctions to prevent their partners from getting abortions.
