Single sheet folded to make 4-panel brochure which folds out into a full 8.5x11 inch sheet, light handling wear, beginning to split along one fold, else good condition. Supports the incumbent president based on his labor record.

Washington DC: Young Republican National Federation, 1948. Handbill. Single leaf of glazed alkaline paperstock folded twice in a stylish manner to display photoportrait, the "highlights", and covering remarks. Slight crimp-marks and a faint crease touching portrait at the temple. Good to very good condition.

New York: National Committee for an Effective Congress, 1977. Pamphlet. 10p., 8.5x11 inches; in very good condition.

Girard: Haldeman-Julius Publications, no date. 64,, 5 x 3.5 inch staplebound wraps, greyish-green buff, mildtly browned with a lower-corner crimp and closed tear. Little blue book no. 1065. FYI, the Quinn portraits are curiously "off" though from standard image-pools available at the time; Polk looks like Vlad the Impaler, Hayes like one of the chambers in Carlsbad Caverns.

Akron, OH: Saafield Publishing Co, 1901. Hardcover. [32]pp., illustrations, boards. Bound in limp boards covered in gilt stamped publisher's cloth. Covers soiled. The courtship of William McKinley and Ida Saxton is narrated in verse. Illustrated with photo-illustrations of the couple, their homes in Canton, OH, and their portraits taken while in the White House. Likely published prior to McKinley's assassination in September 1901.

Menlo Park, CA: Menlo Publishers, 1988. Hardcover. 207p., hardcover in dust jacket; gift inscription on front endpaper, faint wear on dust jacket, else in very good condition.

n.p.: Postal Commemorative Society, 1979. Album. Original envelopes and postage stamps (perhaps fifty all told) fill this black-and-gilt naugahyde binder which measures 10.5x9.5 inches, recto of each leaf provides enclosing borders and extensive captioning text (versos are blank, allowing corner-tips of the recto envelopes to stick through and permit extrication. This collection begins with an Olympic Games cover and ends with the Martin Luther King Jr. cover. Every single recto is neatly filled with an overflow of similar others, laid in, including a loose Swedish commemorative of IWW's Joe Hill. Other such latecomers simply laid in are labor-related; find a Gompers and several Frances Perkins. The owner was a neat-freak; one of the tidiest binders we have seen on any subject.
