Richmond: Richmond Alliance of Asian Americans, 1972. Pamphlet. 12p., bound in 3-ring folder, 9x11.5 inches. Copy previously owned by the Association of Chinese Teachers. Folder edgeworn with small rust marks, date due slip, some fading to text, else very good. Due slip bears the signature of Allan Seid, who founded the Asian Americans for Community Involvement his wife, Mary, in 1973. Makes mention of key touchstones in Chinese American history including the passage of legislation limiting immigration, as well as the various race riots and massacres perpetrated by white laborers. The Richmond Alliance of Asian Americans appears to have been active in the early 1970s, with one East Bay Newspaper making mention of a speaking event they held in November of 1972.

Hawthorne NY: Ray Leonardo and Sons, Inc, 1987. Pamphlet. ii, 54p., illustrated with diagrams and tables that demonstrate conformities in the historical trajectory of (all?) recorded civilizations. Softbound in dark blue 9x6 inch stapled wraps, a near-fine copy with a tiny bump to tail corner and a "Review Copy" stamp impression inside. FYI, author's consideration of "turbulence" is more persuasive than the "transcendence" element.

Lima: Editado por la Corporacion Nacional de Turismo, 1949. Paperback. 128p., text in Spanish, tables, photos, some edgewear, otherwise very good first edition paperback in 8x6 inch pictorial wraps with map cover.

Culiacan: Universidad Autonoma de Sinaloa, 1981. Paperback. 208p., softbound in 8x5 inch glazed white wraps, slight external edgewear, a clean sound very good copy. Text in Spanish.

The Hague: Martinus Nijhoff, 1938. Paperback. vii, 33p. (text and tables, one folding) plus two more very large folded tables bound in at back. An elegant production on fine alkaline paperstock, rubricated cover and title page, complex handset presswork, softbound in 11x7 inch buff wraps in very good condition pace a few mild corner-tip turnings (no sharp creasing) and a couple of flecks of soil. Otherwise clean, and quite sound and unmarked.

Hong Kong: Urban Council, 1970. Paperback. [72p.], illustrated wraps; thoroughly illustrated with B&W photos, two color plates tipped in, fore-edges slightly toned, wrapper edges slightly worn, some rubbing along spine, else good. Catalog of an exhibition, with text in both Chinese and English.

Jerusalem: The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, 1966. Pamphlet. 39p. (text & tables) + VII (plates diagrammatic and photographic plus a map with color onlay), large sewn pamphlet in plain printed 10.5x7 inch wraps. The terminal plate is a substantial fold-out, showing exposed face of quite a lot of dirt (dig we must). Cover bears an ownership signature and a few mild smudges, inside find booksellers' marks on first blank; a very good copy. The lower pleistocene of the Central Jordan Valley; the excavations at 'Ubeidiya, 1960-1963, directed by M. Stekelis.

Torino: Edizioni Upiar, 1996. Paperback. 80p., numerous b&w illustrations (photos and vignette line maps), 8x5.5 inch pictorial wraps; sp-ine has a slight reader's crease and mild edgewear, a very good clean copy. Text in Italian. A catalog of UFO sightings in Siena province.

Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1895. Hardcover. xvi, 352p., the two line maps in colors as called for, plus a terminal 4p., the series menu. Hardbound first edition in 7.5x5 inch green cloth boards gilt and black, gilt a bit dim while remaining quite legible, slight edgewear to casing with a touch of color-loss to rims and corner-tips, a very good copy indeed: perfectly sound, clean and unmarked. Cambridge Historical series; Prothero, editor.

Washington: U.S. Government Printing Office, 1975. Pamphlet. 31p., stapled wraps, 5.25x8.25 inches; illus., wraps lightly toned and somewhat foxed along stapled edge, staples slightly rusted, else very good condition.

New York/Jerusalem: The Amercan Academy for Jewish Research, 1987. Hardcover. xv, 247p., neat presswork on alkaline bright-white paperstock and hardbound in turquoise boards gilt. The two lower corner-tips of casing are both bumped, slightly affecting textblock, which is otherwise in perfect shape. Were it not for that damage book would be as new: sound as well as clean and unmarked. Makes a crucial point widely ignored, from manuscripts widely misinterpreted, apparently in favor of religious tolerance. AAJR Texts and Studies volume VI.

Vilinus: Lithuanian Reform Movement Sajudis, 1990. Paperback. 114p., starts right in at p.1, no blanks no titlepage, a softbound in 8.5x6 inch plain printed wraps with presswork in green. Text itself is probably keyboard-set. The dead-white wraps are slightly crumpled and dusty, the text mildly toned, a good (good-only) copy: otherwise sound, and quite clean and unmarked.

Hong Kong: The University of Hong Kong, 2003. Oversized Paperback. 171p., profuse color reproductions, skilled work on bright-white alkaline paperstock, softbound in 12x9 inch color pictorial wraps. The book designer designed-in lovely laid-lined endsheets front and back, an unusual feature in softback book production. Splendid and doubtless very rare European paintings of Chinese sites and people. Bilingual text.

Fresno CA: the church, 1975. Newsletter. Single "legal-size" leaf of alkaline paperstock, printed densely recto and verso in sepia with a robinsegg-blue banner lettered white (nice design), folded transversely twice for mailing - this exemplar bears a mailing address in Parlier CA. Slight edgewear, external foldlines a little dust-soiled, otherwise clean and sound and entirely unmarked.

Tucson AZ: Self-published by the author, 1998. Pamphlet. 24p., illustrated with numerous period photos, floorplans and elevations, b&w with two color pix on the covers; softbound stapled pamphlet, professionally and nicely produced, and inscribed and signed by the author opposite the title page to acknowledge assistance. Cover is a little worn along the spinefold and has a tiny corner-tip crease, back cover bears a few light scratches. Good copy.
