Old vertical crease, some horizontal crimping, last leaf splitting head and tail, front cover is lightly penciled (numerals, queries), back cover rather dust-soiled with a touch of foxing. A good-only copy. Sabin 18025. Criticism of a backroom deal between members of the Democratic and Free Soil parties in the state, co-signed by William Aspinwall and 166 other Whig members of the General Court of Massachusetts. Nice copy of a rather ill-tempered book; Howe is prone to dismiss Afrocentric claims with derision (for the following phrase, "As history and science, this is evidently laughable," see p.273) and as being varieties of bigotry and stereotype.

Slight handling soil, a very good copy. Referred to within as third part of a "white paper" on the Gulf War, following separate installments v.I ("Hussein, Oil, CPI, Drug War...") and v.II ("Hussein's Mythical Nukes..and Iraq's Military Power"). Third part only. Largely an indictment of George Herbert Walker Bush in and out of the presidential warmonger role, materials from public journalism and private interviews, unclassified documents, weapons-provider ads and so forth.

Rivera was formerly a catholic priest in Spain, until a mystical experience turned him against his Catholic beliefs. He accused the Vatican of freemasonry and idolatry. The letter issues gratitude for donations to the Antichrist Information Center and the backside promotes a film screening of his.

"Through a unique combination of exhaustive research, forensic skills, and technical expertise on armaments, Howson establishes that the arms embargo played a much greater part in the Republic's defeat than is usually acknowledged" (from dj text). Moreover "the Soviets provided far less aid than has been thought and defrauded the Spanish government of millions of dollars by secretly manipulating the exchange rates" The author spent two decades researching this problem; previously he published "Aircraft of the Spanish Civil War

Fallbrook CA: Aero Publishers, Inc, 1983. Paperback. 154p., illustrations include 16p section on glazed paper of artist's renderings and photos in color, and also many b&w photos, diagrams and cartoons in the text; softbound first edition in 8.5x5.5 inch decorated wraps. Edges are faintly foxed, else entirely clean and sound, a very good copy. The thesis (laser "umbrella") came under fire from other scientists; President Reagan had better luck with his "peacekeepers," the underground MX on rails.

n.p.: The Hispanic American Historical Review, 1969. Pamphlet. Offprint, pp.703-719, 9x6 inch plain printed wraps, a single signature side-stapled in very good condition (slightest signs of handling, none of age) inscribed and signed in full in February 1970. Primarily a defense of Las Casas' "Very Brief Account" by dint of methodic correlation with other accounts that one-by-one demolish the notion that the invasive Spanish did more good than harm. Nope, Las Casas rules.

Slight edgewear, stamp of the "Church of Jesus Christ Christian" on title page else very good condition. Yet another transmogrification of Hubbard's anonymous forgery.

no city, Spain: the serial, n.d.. Paperback. Unpaginated, perhaps forty-five leaves with presswork rectos only on semi-glazed stock, covers unglazed and somewhat acidic. Softbound in oblong 10x14 inch printed wraps, wraps quite dirty with edgewear, light stains short creasings. Internally the plates and wide margins have dust and crimps and occasional droplet stains. Exceedingly angry material, a fair to good copy.

Berkeley: The Bancroft Library, 1979. Pamphlet. 31p., a flimsy copyshop sort of production but marvelous content, illustrated with a number of b&w vignettes. Bliss writes lengthy annotations, his catalogue (28 pages actually, remaining leaves are a useful detailed index) is comprised of 67 such notes. Saddle-stitched in 8.5x5.5 inch wraps, staples are badly rusted and have migrated some, item was evidently carelessly stored, spine-fold bears a slanted line of offset color and dust-soil, The blank back cover has a mild,but rather large dampstain, the text area generally crimped. Physically, fair to good-only condition. Autographing as "Tony," Bliss has inscribed the titlepage to Berkeley bookseller John Swingle.

Externally find slight edgewear and crimping, a sound copy that internally is entirely clean and unmarked. Replies to the Bush administration's canard that Cuba dealt drugs. Cuba against International Drug Trafficking.

Author Kraft expects to distribute most copies free to libraries and notable lawyers and jurists. On racist implications in the 14th amendment used to defeat the ends of affirmative action and the recruitment of minorities to the professions.
