Harrodsburg KY: Printed by Democrat Printing Co. for Woodward & Shanklin, 1894. Paperback. 117p., newsprint textblock, paperbound in densely printed 6.5x5 inch russet wraps, textblock is extremely acidic and fragile with a crease and a short split to last leaf, back cover wrap similarly split and creased with a minuscule chip, front cover detached, slightly edgeworn. A good copy, still handleable and rather attractive with its announcements arranged around a central image of a gentleman in bowler hat, printed black on terra-cotta. Note.--this mare has unusual style, finish, speed and but for being blind in one eye would be exceptionally desirable to mate. The eye was knocked out when a two-year-old, but does not affect the other.

Description:
New York: Waverly Publishers, 1985. Paperback. 187p., wraps, illus., top left corner bumped, else very good condition. Much on his interactions with the Kennedy clan. Bernard had made a then cutting-edge film documentary on studfarm practice, too graphic for general release. Rose Kennedy heard about it and without having grasped the precise content, hired him to show his film to adolescents within and ancillary to the clan; he had slightly rude encounters with Bobby and Ted and gathered many impressions before, at the last minute, Rose nixed the showing.

Description:
San Mateo CA: Delores K. Jibby, 1949. Spiral_bound. A peculiar book; unpaginated, perhaps two hundred pages, profuse b&w photography (pedestrian, modest reproduction quality), texts rendered from typed ms and holograph headings. Softbound with a wide-diameter wire spiral. Covers are detached (but present) and very ragged along spine fastening, but the leaves are undamaged. A fair to good-only copy, good within but a little hard to handle and turn pages because of inappropriate binding technique. Subject matter ranges from real estate and local business venues, to notable locals, to auto-racing, horseback riding (lotsa cowboy hats) and an extensive aviation coverage, especially helicopters then being developed. The computer era changed all this folksy stuff, of course.
