Softbound chapbook, [8]p. of monocolor portraits reproduced from inkstick or brush, plus nice blank endpapers; a sewn (but thread is loose) decorated pamphlet in 7x7 inch wraps with silkscreened portraits of Miles Davis and Kim Jong II, one of 100 cc. Leaves are nested though very loose, front cover is sunned, item is slightly edgeworn.

New York: People's Anti-War Mobilization, 1983. 8.5x11 inch handbill, very good. Suggests that flight KAL 700, a passenger plane shot down by the Soviet Union, had been involved in espionage.

Oakland: Black Panther Party, 1970. Newspaper. 20p. illus. tabloid + 8p. supplement, Bobby Seale in an electric chair depicted on front cover; horizontal fold, evenly toned, minor chip at the right end of the fold. Emory Douglas poster on back depicting the US government as a vulture over Seale in the chair. The lead articles were written by Eldridge Cleaver in exile, as was the supplement, which focuses on North Korea and includes two full-page photos of Kim Il Sung.

"Manipulation prevented the speech from being made, and almost complete press [sic] kept it out of the newspapers when it was released by the Chinese delegation on Dec. 16, 1950.

Chicago: Follett Publishing Company, 1965. Hardcover. 401p., inscribed by the author in the year before his death, very good hardcover in dust jacket. The Korean American author's fictionalized memoir of moving to America, originally published in 1937.

Berkeley: University of California Press, 1996. Paperback. xviii, 306p., illustrated with b&w photos, some line maps and tables; softbound in 9x6 inch decorated wraps, mild signs of age and handling: paperstock is slightly toned, covers show a slight curl, a nice copy, quite sound, clean and unmarked.
