Description:
npl: Cavities Zine, 2010. Pamphlet. [12]p., stapled wraps, 5.5x8.5 inches, very good condition. Zine consisting of Google Maps printouts of Port Au Peck Ave in Oceanport, NJ (located at the coordinates in the title) along with absurdist google reviews of chain restaurants (on an Olympia, WA Starbucks: "The temperature outside is warm, muggy, uncomfortable on the body. Once inside, you think you are looking at the back of the National Gallery of art (cf. Orazio Gentileschi, 'The Lute Player": the history of aerosolized matter). Through the one hexagonal window of this Starbucks, you see that it has begun to rain heavily and at a strong diagonal.").

Description:
Asbury Park NJ: [Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce], 1913. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, minimally fifty pages, softbound program in 12x9 inch color wraps resembling a magazine, staple-bound. Covers are edgeworn with a few little chips, plus corner-tip and spinefold abrasion. Lots of automobile camera-fodder and a skeletal aeroplane that sneaks into artwork on both covers, proving how modern is our city; in short, a uniquely weird catchpenny angling for newcomer real estate buyers. Two line maps, one showing "The best roads leading to Asbury Park", the second advancing the proposition that AP "is Absolutely Free From The Salt Marsh Mosquitoes of New Jersey". Best visual: back cover infant male with combed & parted blond hair. A final detail: a small irregular label is fixed to upper corner of cover bearing the typewritten message that "Your advertisement is marked X inside" (refers to Atlantic Coast Electric Light Co.; ad about 3/4 through, look for marginal pencil-lead X). A good copy.
