Albuquerque: The Alliance for Cultural Democracy 1990 Conference, 1990. Pamphlet. 11x17 inch poster folded to an 8.5x11 inch brochure with information about the Conference on one side and registration form and mailing addresses on the other and the poster inside. Joy Harjo was the Keynote Speaker at the November 1990 Conference held at University of New Mexico.

Albuquergue, NM: AT&T, 1971. Single 8.5x14 inch sheet, mimeographed one side, introducing the group's three candidates for City Commission, Gary Cook Mahan, Jim Greer, and Lynn Burlbaw. Mahan had co-founded the Independent New Mexican Party with John Salazar.

Buffalo, NY: Amalgamated Clothing & Textile Workers Union, 1973. handbill leaflet. 8.5x11 inch handbill, with pledge at the bottom to be mailed in; "Buffalo, March 1973" penciled in lower right corner, which is creased. A stamp is affixed to the blank verso for mailing, but the pledge was never filled out on this example. Three thousand workers, mostly Chicana women, have been striking the Farah Pants factories in Texas and New Mexico since May, 1972.

Taos: H and R Productions, 1970. Pamphlet. 48p., visuals and text printed sepia on nice tan paperstock, softbound in 8x8 inch sepia wraps staple-fastened, mild signs of handling but an excellent copy: sound, clean and unmarked.

Berkeley: Quinto Sol Publications, 1972. Paperback. 248p., light impression from a paperclip on first pages, lightly worn covers else good first edition, first printing stated (June 1972) in black pictorial wraps. One of the most important - and scarcest - single work in the modern Chicano literary canon. Reprinted many times but the first printing trade paperback original is very scarce.

Santa Fe: Institute of American Indian Arts, 2003. Paperback. 231 pg. paperback, 6 x 9 inches. Corners bumped, else very good. Signed and inscribed by editor and contributor Okpik on the cover page. Features plays, poetry, and other writing by indigenous authors.

Santa Fe NM: Kapala Press [www.dpress.net], 2013. Paperback. 124, xxvi, 175p., softbound facsimile of an amateur artist's sketchbook, b&w with some reproductions in colors, softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch color wraps. A little crudely bound: wrapper is fractionally too small for textblock, a color section protrudes but seems not at risk (i.e., it is not a "started" signature), there are small signs of handling (a positive omen), a good to very good copy. One finds sketches of Tibetan deities, living Tibetan Buddhists (some from life, some from postcards &c, figures from European Renaissance art, friends and self in religious garb, hippie stuff, a profusion of beginner's work. There is a section of captions and credits to which one can refer. The dedication page thanks his daughter for turning him on to Betty Edwards' Drawing From the Right Side of the Brain. Albuquerque: the newspaper, 1967. Newspaper. Four page tabloid format newspaper, paper evenly toned, folded horizontally, otherwise very good. None found in OCLC as of 9/2020; unknown whether any later issues were published. Underground newspaper with much coverage of an incident in which students at Albuquerque High School passing out anti-draft leaflets were arrested, including an interview with the principal. Also includes a short piece on Drop City South, a dome-home commune. Named writers include Steve and Holly Baer, Debbie Linet and William Harris.

Slightest edgewear and sunning to covers, entirely sound, clean and unmarked within. Originally designed by Merle Armitage and published by Pinon in 1961. The 1973 reprint was re-designed by Douglas J. Houston who provided item with a b&w photographic cover and an index, and who dropped the Armitage foreword.

San Jose: Writers Club Press, 2000. Paperback. xvi, 381p., reprint edition, 9x6 inch glossy wraps decorated with a color photo of a small-town main drag, a very nice copy: sound, clean, unmarked, slight curl to corners of glossy wraps.

Hardcover. 426p., rubricated titlepage, casebinding provided with headbands and a top-edge tinted pink, a nicely-designed and produced book, dark grey boards with black cloth backstrip gilt, enclosed in the dust jacket. An as-new copy, perfectly intact (dust jacket unclipped), sound, clean and unmarked. Quite a book.

Hardcover. vii, 308p. + iv, bright turquoise cloth boards with titling and spine lettering in gilt, encased in dust jacket, frontispiece three paneled fold-out map of Cuba; some slight edge wear on dust jacket and minor foxing on inside, price-clipped front panel, some sun-discoloration to dust jacket spine, otherwise in very good condition. Author was a prominent local historian of New Mexico.
