Athens Greece: Krene Editions, 1991. Paperback. 120p., profuse color illustrations both photographic and diagrammatic (floorplans, elevations and pictorials), softbound in 9.5x6.5 inch color cardstock wraps. Book itself has a mildly edgeworn front cover, blank back cover a little rubbed, but the folded map (more of a 3-D reconstruction) is fine. Presentable copy of a Library of Congress Duplicate with LC's rubberstamp to half-title. Otherwise unmarked, and entirely sound and clean.

Tulsa, OK: University of Tulsa, 1978. Poster. 1 poster, illustration. 20 x 16 in. (folded to 8 x 10 in., as issued, for mailing). Very Good. Poster for Friedman's installation at the Philbrook Art Center at the University of Tulsa, consisting of 26 Greek-themed buildings of various sizes and scales, inscribed with puns and other witty remarks. Friedman was one of the youngest of the Fluxus artists.

Boston: Ward-Nasse Gallery, 1967. Single sheet broadside/mailer, 10x23 inches, printed one side with 45 b&w images of the sculptures with corresponding titles/descriptions below, folded several times down to a 5.75x10 inch mailer with address label printed and cancelled stamp on one panel (marred by several small coffee rings on the address panel not affecting the poster images.).

Includes photographs of commissioned words of public art. Essay by Andrew Lambirth. Text in German. Lacking the accompanying booklet with English translations of texts.

Hardcover. 238p., coated paperstock throughout illustrated with color and b&w site photography, exhibit photography, architectural and other sorts of diagrams (most in color); superbly done by Flammarion of Paris, here presented by Chartwell books for the English-language market. Huge hardbound in 13x10 inch white boards spine-titled black. Covers have picked up a little soil (item is lacking the dust jacket), a very good tight square copy.

Peiping: H. Vetch, 1937. Hardcover. xii, [2], 78 p. interspersed with black and white photo plates; green cloth boards with gilt title on spine; very good with minor shelfwear; 1949 ownership signature of Lieutenant Colonel S.W. Bogan on half-title page, front endpaper has smaller signature of David B. Burnham. Swallow, the Ningbo-born son of missionary parents, was a teacher and businessman with a wide-ranging career, at one time tutoring the sons of President Yuan Shih-kai.

Budapest: Generalart Studio Gallery, 1987. Paperback. [76]p., illustrations, wraps. 9.25 x 6.5 in. Catalogue of an exhibition, funded in part by the Soros Foundation (later the Open Society Foundation), held at the Budapest hall of art featuring three "young men around thirty, characteristic figures of the Hungarian art scene of the Eighties." Illustrations of prints, paintings, sculpture, and performance, with texts interspersed. Catalog compiled by Marianna Mayer.

Tubingen: Verlag Ernst Wasmuth, 1955. Hardcover. XII, 439p., profulely illustrated with expert sketches both descriptive and explanatory, plus artist's reconstructions (how such & such gate may have looked, &c). Hardbound in openweave blue cloth boards gilt and enclosed in the dust jacket. Nice condition: the book itself has a short bump to tail-rim, the only detraction from crisp squareness, top edge mildly dust-soiled, gilt remains bright, within find a neat small ownership signature. The dj wasn't so lucky; although complete it is very edgeworn with puncturing scratches. All in all a very good copy. Text exclusively in the German language.

New York / Tokyo: Weatherhill, 1985. Hardcover. xxix, 786p, a "most comprehensive study available", hardbound in 10.5x7 inch brown brocade cloth boards gilt and enclosed in the dust jacket. The sole significant flaw we find shows up in part four of text (pages 450-500) which bears occasional pale yellow hi-liting. Book itself is otherwise in fine shape, with top rim of dust jacket worn down an eighth inch. No ownerships or institutional marks. Very good copy pace the hi-lites.

Tokyo: Shufunotomo Co, 1971. Paperback. 20p., wraps, chiefly illus., rear wrap and versos of both wraps heavily foxed, scattered foxing throughout, sticker scar on rear wrap. Text in English, Japanese, and French.

Boston: Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 1966. Paperback. 185p., b&w and color exhibit photography in a running text, softbound in 8.5x7.5 inch frenchfold colorphoto wraps. Covers are edgeworn, half-titled bears an ownership inscription in ink and a dealer's code in pencil. Clean and sound within, a good copy.

Seoul: Kwang Myong Publishing, 1979. 397p., 10.5x14.5 inches, clean boards though some warping, gilt art & type on boards, d.j. has some fraying along top edge, extensive color photos.

Mexico, D.F.: SEP, 1987. Hardcover. 188p., profusely illustrated with color photography showing sites and exhibits, a rather tame treatment but a nice copy of this hardbound in dark blue leatherette boards decorated in gilt, red and blind-stamp designs.
