Pittsburgh: Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, 1966. 121p. exhibition catalog, profusely illus. with black/white reproductions of the African American artist's work, along with works by the other two "naive" European American artists, 8x11 inches, plain printed wraps, spine panel somewhat sunned with a nick at the tail.

Chicago: Thompson & Thomas, 1904. Paperback. 210p., nine full-page woodblock illustrations (ten, counting cover), softbound first edition in 7.5x5 inch decorated wraps printed black and red on smooth yellow stock. Front cover is nearly detached with an ineffective bit of old tape at the heel, very acidic textblock with a bad bump and crumpling to tips of many leaves. All cover texts, and all images and content within are intact, but item is hard to handle, and was bound rather stiffly to begin with. As is.

Berkeley, CA: Oyate, 1990. [28p.], wraps, spiralbound, wraps somewhat browned, pencil notation on front wrap else very good condition. Basic skills like golfing, making money. Tongue-in-cheek pseudo-ethnography and parody of "sensitive" educational books for kids about ethnic minorities.

Paris: Stock, 2005. Paperback. 209p., softbound first edition in 8.5x5.5 inch glossy green & white wraps and enclosed in a similar dust jacket featuring a colorphoto portrait of Iacub with green parrot. Signed and briefly inscribed by her on the first blank. A stylish production in perfect shape: both book and dj are as-new, pace the author signature.

Boston: Oliver Ditson Company, 1920. Sheet_music. 5p. (of which 3 imprinted with music notation and lyrics (provided with chorus), sheet music in 12x9 inch color pictorial wraps, several inked tics, rear wrap detached but held on by two pieces of ancient yellowed tape. Cover illustration a placid scene, exclusively African American, with children and banjo. As is, serviceable condition.

Jefferson, NC: McFarland & Company, 1989. Hardcover. xvi, 270p. hardcover, some pen underlining, a decent reading copy.

no place: Anaya Editores S.A., 1980. Paperback. 233p. plus 6p. "Nota final", glossy red paperbound in 8x5 inch decorated wraps (a workingclass guy at a urinal), illustrated with vignette t&a sketches (young busty females). Text paperstock slightly toned, but an unhandled copy just out of its shrinkwrap. We are assuming Mexican publication data, as per the collection this item came from, most likely Mexico DF, but we cannot be sure.

San Francisco: The Porpoise Bookshop, 1955. Staplebound. 32p., staplebound wraps, 4.25x5.5 inches, illus. with b&w drawings, light soiling to wraps, else very good condition. An introduction to Chinatown history, somewhat sympathetic despite the credulous rehashing of old tales about slave auctions, streets running with blood during the Tong Wars, etc.

New York: Random House Trade Paperbacks, 2008. Paperback. 211p., plus an Acknowledgments section ("Helvetica!" they love this font!), b&w vignette illustrations (i.e., distractions) throughout the (bright white!) alkaline-based textblock, softbound in 9x6 inch decorated wraps. Nice clean copy, they don't carry pencils anymore, bother with dog ears, or even open the book they just bought to be friendly. Starts off with Coffee, a WASP special, and ends with the font of choice. Compiled by a center-right of whatever ethnic persuasion; what else would venture that whitey endorsed Obama so as not to sound racist. Another false note, p.169: "Generally speaking, the type of conspiracy most beloved by white people involves the American government working with some sort of multinational corporation to extract money or resources from a poor nation" --as a put-down.

New York: Grosset and Dunlap, 1929. Hardcover. 410p., illustrated with b&w production stills (Fox Movietone) on glazed inserted stock, the Grosset edition of the original Payson & Clarke publication neglected to change copyright information (therefore G&D may be advertised as the "first", which it is not). Hardbound in textured red cloth lettered black, cloth is smudged with a partial light cup-ring, top edge dust-soiled, a sound copy clean and unmarked within. FYI, the selling point of Mr Ripley's novel is hardly the storyline (hangovers, racism) but the four plates. One is simulated shot of horseback revolutionaries, and the other three of Victor McLaglen being a towering ladies' man (whatta grin!) and a singleton of a young Humphrey Bogart being obsequious.

Madrid: Ediciones Españolas, 1939. 242p., Chapter heading vignette linedrawn cartoons lampooning left stereotypes, some foxing, first edition, wraps rebound in library buckram, ex library.

Carlstadt NJ: Lewis Music Publishing Co., Inc, 1972. Sheet_music. Reprint: a single huge leaf of alkaline paperstock folded twice to make a six-panel brochure with each panel measuring 11x8.5 inches, has a cover in red and black featuring an old stereotype of a Black vaudevillian. Four of the panels are taken up with the musical notation, plus cover, plus publisher's menu of other Joplin music available. Item mildly edgeworn with corner-tip creasing, slight dust-soil, and a former owner's note to self to "work accurately". Good (good-only) copy.

Magazine. 40p. includes covers, 8.25x11 inches, articles, opinion, interviews, reviews, news, services and resources, ads, photos, very good LGBTQ glossy magazine in stapled pictorial wraps. Cover story on Conrad K. Pratt, Crushing Stereotypes. Also redefining your life post-Covid. Dan Savage's Dirty Movie Festival. Tom of Finland Foundation awards (no illustrations). Monthly magazine with emphasis on LGBTQ+ rights and AIDS. Some entertainment and fashion. Only two holdings for the publication located in OCLC as of 5/2022 and those only a few issues.

Hardcover. xiv, 218p. plus appended lists (murdered kids; photo credits), first edition in 8.5x5.5 inch laminated decorated boards (not issued with a dust jacket), Very presentable Library of Congress Duplicate (nix to acquisition) with its rubberstamp neatly impressed on title page and its copyright sticker fixed upon back cover. Otherwise unmarked, and entirely sound and clean.
