This is a 10 page pamphlet (9" x 12") celebrating the 500th anniversary of Gutenberg's invention of printing (moveable type), and a (necessarily) short history of printing since then, especially as it took place in the Hawaiian Islands. Features six lovely tipped in color illustrations (reproduced etchings). The plain manilla covers have some edgewear, the contents are fine. This was clearly a limited edition, but the number of copies is unknown. This copy is very scarce, possibly unique. (box 182)
