Ginn and Company, 1909. Soft cover. Good. The New-England Primer Enlarged, O[r], an early and pleasant Guide to the Art of Reading, Adorn'd with Cuts, To which are added, The Assembly of Divines, and Mr. Cotton's Catechism, etc. Boston: Printed by E. Draper, for B. Larkin in Cornhill. A facsimile reprint by Ginn & Company who knows when [circa 1909, from the original publication of 1785-1790]. 32mo (4 ½ in), softbound, unpaginated, image of General Washington on the front cover, b/w illustrations. Includes poems, hymns, prayers, catechisms, and "A dialogue between Christ, Youth and the Devil." Condition is GOOD- with the covers taped at spine, faint soiling to front cover, a few pages are detaching, otherwise quite a terrific piece of early New England education. Ginn & Co. has a few advertisements in the rear.
