Charmingly illustrated by the author in colour and b&w. When Dolly the Dormouse leaves her countr yside home for adventure in town, she finds that some are more pleasurable than others. While owls, trains and mouse traps cause concern, there are also new friends to meet, parties to attend and foods to sample. In the end though, she deci d e s t h a t country life is the best.
