SIGNED by the book's most famous contributor "Truly yours, Mark Twain" on the first blank. BAL 3437: Fourth Printing. Contains the first appearance of Twain's "Extracts from Adam's Diary, Translated from the Original MS," on pages [93]-109. This copy also has an AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED from each of three of the other contributors--David Day, Edward Martin, and Peter Porter--laid in.
