Vintage sheet music with words by Lorenz Hart and music by Richard Rodgers from the movie JUMBO. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Rodgers on the front cover: "To Bobby/with affectionate good/wishes from/Dick." Rodgers, best known for his collaborations with lyricists Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II, was a composer and lyricist of more than 900 songs and 40 Broadway musicals. His many awards include an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, a Tony, and a Pulitzer prize.

Vintage sheet music with words and music by Irving Berlin. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the composer on the front cover: "For Iris and Jeff/with love from/Irving Berlin/1979."

[1981]. Hardcover. Signed page a bit wrinkled not affecting Berlin's writing. Near Fine and possibly unique. Thick quarto (8-7/8" x 11-3/4" x 3" thick) in a plastic-enclosed black pebbled leather 3-hole binder containing 194 vintage pieces of sheet music by Irving Berlin, likely all reprints, specially compiled and arranged alphabetically with a special contents page bound at the front. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the composer on the front endpaper: "For Rosemary and Earl Wilson/with love from/Irving Berlin -- 1981." A privately compiled effort exclusively produced and supervised by Irving Berlin during his twilight years, likely only for his closest friends. We are aware of the existence of only one other copy, that belonging to Harold Arlen. Earl Wilson was one of the best known gossip columnists of his day and an authority on Broadway and show business. Small tape marks on front cover and a horizontal strip of loss of music on the rear cover. Still Very Good and attractive. Quarto (8-1/2" x 11") in illustrated wraps; 4 pages. Vintage sheet music with words by Ted Koehler and music by Harold Arlen. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the Arlen on the front cover: "For Bob/My always smilin' friend/deep affection/Harold." In addition to this classic, which was featured in a film with the same name, Arlen and Koehler combined to write "Let's Fall in Love" and "Get Happy." Arlen is perhaps best known as the composer of the music for THE WIZARD OF OZ film, including the song "Over the Rainbow," voted the 20th century's No. 1 song by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
