London: Parkins & Gotto Ltd. Book is undated, but would guess at around mid 1920's, with maroon boards. Front board has a band of fading to the top adge, about 2" deep. Book is for recording a baby's firsts - name, d.o.b., first tooth, favourite story, first little socks etc. Also has adverts for a variety of items thought to be of use to either mother or baby during this time. Also contains some tear-out slips to post off for items such as Ovaltime, coal tar soap, and even a free sample of "dentifirce twice a day" tooth powder. A lovely copy of a very endearing little book.. First Edition.. Hard Back. Very Good/No Jacket.

Red boards with gold gilt label to spine and to front board and silver gilt flower to spine and front board and black etched design wrapped round both boards and spine. Spine is darkened with some rubbing to gilt, nick to head of spine, bumping to corners and bottom of spine, slight rubbing to gilt on front board, darkened page edges, very light marking here and there to borders of pages and a prize plate on fep. Heavier wear to spine ends, with about an inch of loss to the bottom and 1/2 and inch loss to the top of spine and a few areas of splitting & grazing on the hinges.. 'This book belongs to' section as been filled in then crossed out with a single black line, otherwise interior is clean. Although the book has seen better days it is an extremely rare copy of a particularly lovely story, with illustrations throughout.. First Edition.. Laminated Boards. Fair.

New York: Random House, 1979. A little set of three books - The Emily Book, the Adam Book and The Emily and Adam Book of Opposites. All have a tiny weeny bit of fading to the op of the spines. The slipcase has a faded spine, with heavy fading on the 'Emily' side, and a band of fasding to the Adam side. But the books are almost perfect and appear unread. Please call for images..
