Pictorial pastedowns and endpapers, bookplate to front ffep, no markings, clean interior. Solid copy of an impressive edition. 770 pp.

Nice paperback copy, name and date neatly penned first blank page, otherwise unmarked with minor edgewear, one corner crimped. Small area rear wrap scuffed. Translation by Sir Richard Burton of the original 1893 edition. A collection of Neapolitan tales dating back to the fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth centuries -a sort of Italian Arabian Nights. VG+. 455 pp.
