Description:
Alexandria, VA: Jea Berrard, 1987. First edition. Paperback. Very Good. 4to. Pictorial wraps. Wraps lightly scuffed with wear to corners. Inscribed by author and his wife and dated November 1987. A fascinating and quite rare copy of this book which is a cookbook as well as a memoir outlining his life under Nazi occupation in France. With admirers including Simca Beck, Julia Child, and Gertrude Stein it is a wonder that this book is so difficult to find.
