Printer to the Colony, 1772. . 2 volumes: [2] and 8 pp. and [2] and 51 pp. Folio in 2s, paper-covered boards, narrow leather backstrip; worn; contemporary ownership signature of Brightberry Brown on front pastedown; free endpapers lacking Berg 200 and 208; Evans 12265 and 12591. Acts in this format are extremely rare and are referred to as Òfugitive sheetsÓ or sessional laws they were printed up at the end of each session. Some of them were later collected into a codeÑone had been printed in 1769 and there was not another one done until 1785. Once collected into a code, many of the sessionals were discarded.
