This particularly decorative volume was part of Doubleday-Doran's "Malay Edition," which had uniform bindings of Conrad's various writings and was published four years after the author's death. The book was bound in black cloth with a yellow vignette drawing of a ship on the front panel and yellow titles on the front panel and spine. There is only light shelf wear to the spine tips and corners. The book includes an illustrated front endpaper map in black on a yellow background with the heading, "The Voyages of Joseph Conrad, Master Seaman."
