Light scratches and some soil areas to both upper and lower board. Corner and spine ends have some rub wear and bumping. Text block edges somewhat grimy, with a tiny spot of food soil affecting the foredge of about 10 pages. Ink names and addresses of previous owners on the foreward page and a bit of writing on the rear endpaper. Other pages overall are clean and unmarked, but I did see a couple of pages with minor ink notations. I would say this copy has definitely been used by someone doing research. An extensive history of Adelaide Township in Middlesex County, Ontario. Family histories make up 450 of the pages, which would make it a great resource for genealogical research. Illustrated with black and white archival photographs. A scarce copy. May require additional postage due to the weight of the book. .

Rub wear along 2" of lower board bottom edge and at corners. Text block edges have some light stains. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with light toning. Dust jacket has some edge wear, including chips and tiny tears. Small stain near head of the spine. An account of the 1961 season of production at the Stratford Festival in Ontario. The author was a staff writer for the Festival at the time, and explains many aspects of the background work put into this successful season, when Coriolanus, Henry VIII, and Love's Labour's Lost were produced. The star of the season was award winning actor Paul Scofield. The book includes 6 double sided black and white photographic plates. Flat signed by the author on the title page. .
