Kriegsweihnachten (war Christmas) was an important celebration in the German and other armies and was formally celebrated with a dinner and exchange of gifts. This book may have been such a gift. The author, Karl Boemer was Leiter der Presseabteilung des Aussenpolitischen Amtes of the Nazi party.
