Dust jacket has some rubbing, fading, chipping o spine tips and a couple of closed tears. Protected in mylar cover. Book cover has a couple of indents and a red dot. Book is clean and tight with minor wear to edges.

Wonder Books, 1950 Appears to be a first with alternative binding (new long-life binding). #550/29cents. Child's name in belongs to. Covers have a bright front with some rubbing to edges, a chip to the bottom and some soiling to back.Sewn binding. Pages are age-toned but interior is clean and tight. Great illustrations. Lists 763 on back.

The Macmillan Company, 1933 Blue boards have some fading to edges and spine. A bit of bumping to spine tips and corners. Some toning to endpapers, mostly in fold. Interior is clean and tight. Rare fragile DJ has chipping with a bit of loss to spine tips and corners, some soiling and large closed tears. Price clipped with a stamped price. Still nice and bright with picture ducks in front of the barn. Protected in mylar.

Oxford University Press, 1955 Small oblong 8vo. Red cloth with black design of elves marching. Spine a bit faded. Book is slightly loose. Interior is clean.

Charles E Graham Stiff wrappers. No date. Some chipping to corners and some creasing. Interior is toned (or it may be original color) but clean and tight. Includes: Little Boy Blue and My Cat and My Kittens, Miss Moffat and others.

Scholastic Book Services No date but appears to be a first with TW 882 on spine. Has a 50 cent stickeron front. Covers/spine are slightly worn. May be a page missing in front. Back cover inside has child's scribbing. Pages are clean.

Simon & Schuster, 1959 Stated first printing. Front board has small indent, Spine tips lightly bumped. Corners are sharp. A few pages are uneven (torn) toward the front, as if they were stuck together at some point and separated. Not affecting any text. Rest of book is clean. DJ has two small hole in front, chipping to extremities with some loss at spine tips, some creasing and some soiling. Price intact. Protected in mylar.

Henry Holt, 1913 Original reddish cloth has fading to spine, white marks to back and a bit to front, bumped corners and minor edgewear (mostly rubbing). Tiny bit of soiling present. Previous owner's inscription on front endpaper. Text block is a bit loose on top and in the fold of a few pages but overall the book is tight. Interior is mostly clean with very minor occasional toning, all tissue guards are intact and all tipped in illustrations are intact save one, which is loose but present. Some pages have corner folds. All in all, a very decent copy of these wonderful stories.

E. P. Dutton and Company No date but circa late 1800s. Binding sewn. Front board is cracked but neatly glued together, binding is intact but loose inside, ffep is torn, pages have fraying toward spine, boards have some soiling, chipping and spotting. Front board is still bright with a child riding a black dog. Some spotting and tears but most pages are clean and intact. Cute animal stories and poems. All in all seems to have been preserved.
