Hand colored in red, orange, green, yellow, blue, purple, and brown each representing British; Nabob of Oude; Berar Rajah; Nixam; Mysore Raja; Mahrattas; Travancore; and Kind of Gandy rule. Small tears are seen along the folds at the edges, with the lower fold tear just entering the border of the map. There are a few wrinkles and creases seen at and near corners. . Loose Leaf. Volume in later green binding likely from the first half of the 20th century. Half leather over spine and corners, with green cloth over boards. The later may be of the original binding. Raised spine bands with gilt stamped lettering. Marbled edges on text block. Marbled end leaves. Spine shows a light moisture stain. Corners re a little bumped and worn, with the top lower outside corner showing a deeper scratch. Inked name on blank front fly leaf, along with older penciled bookseller note.
