Single sheet, 28cm x 43.5cm (11" x 17") folded to make three-panel brochure, opening to reveal a campaign poster for Sylvia Weinstein, Socialst Action Party candidate for San Francisco Board of Supervisers; folded dimensions 28cm x ca. 14cm. Fine. Weinstein, a militant feminist, long-time SWP organizer, and co-founder in 1983 of the Socialist Action Party, is credited with coining the oft-used slogan "It will be a great day when our schools get all the money they need, and the Navy has to hold a bake sale to buy a ship," which appears on the verso of this brochure. The recto includes a brief biography and a detailed Socialist Action platform statement. Dated from text.
