Clean interior, sharp corners and tight binding. Jacket has chip and two short tears to top of front panel with associated crease and three short tears to top of rear panel.

Foxing mostly to edges of boards and small spot to spine of volume 1. Cloth tear to top left edge of rear board of volume 2, and small split to bottom of spine. Deckle edge. Nice set for their age. No volume 3.

In black cloth with gilt to type. Some dings/softening to three corners and a name to ffep inked out, otherwise clean with solid binding. Jacket is unclipped($3.00) with two chips roughly 1 x 3/4 inch to top of front panel and spine with smaller chips to top of front flap crease and adjacent panel top. A couple 1 inch tears to top of rear panel and some shorter tears to top and bottom of front panel, top of rear and bottom of spine. A very nice copy in grey boards with blue spine cloth and silver type. Bottom corners bumped, otherwise in great shape with clean interior and tight binding. Bottom corners bumped and light wear to spine ends, otherwise a very nice clean copy with store sticker to rear pastedown. Jacket unclipped with chipping to spine ends and three of four corners. Largest chips to bottom of spine (1 1/4 inch horizontal by 1/4 inch high and to top of rear panel near spine (3/4 X 3/4 inch). Several nicks and small short tears to jacket edges - none more than 1/2 inch. Very rare in jacket.

Jacket is unclipped ($4.75) with large chips to spine ends, smaller at corners and and top of rear panel with some loss to top of front panel and some tears to top and bottom of rear panel, head of spine and bottom of front panel. General edgewear and nicks to top edge of rear panel. Tanning, punctures and soe moistures stains to spine. Scarce.

Sticker and due date slip to ffep, stamp and number in pen to title page, pocket to rear pastedown, stamp and paper removal residue to rfep and stamps to top & bottom page ends and text block. Bottom front corner dinged/rubbed through cloth, otherwise in great shape - clean with tight binding.
