Francfort O. M., 1828. In Very Good condition. Green and black marbled boards quarterbound in green cloth. The spine is stamped in black and gilt (still brilliant). Decorative multi-color staining to all the page-edges. 695pps. There is rubbing wear to the board-edges and scratchings to the marbled boards themselves. A split of about 1/4" is at the bottom of the front joint. Internally, there is a bit of waviness to the pages and a moderate -- but not undue -- amount of foxing, which is confined primarily to the margins. The binding is slightly shaken, though sound, with all pages intact. Other than the faint foxing, the text is clean and bright with no previous ownership markings.
