NY: Henry Holt and Company, 1900. First edition. Hardcover. Good Plus. Brown cloth with gilt stamping, light wear, clean with bright gilt stamping to spine; binding is very lightly shaken, with covers firmly attached (with minor abrasion to front inner hinge paper). Former owner ink stamp to front paste down page, else free of markings, pages lightly age-toned, otherwise pleasingly clean. xvii, 609 pages, plus advertisements.

Brown cloth backed over paper covered covers; slight binding lean, edge wear, rubbing to spine label. Well bound and text clean/unmarked. Attractive frontispiece with tissue guard present.
