The inner hinges have been discretely reinforced with matching Japanese tissue (dark brown endpapers), and it is possible the binding had been recased. Foxing to the title page. The text is toned but generally clean. Illustrated throughout. The scarce first year volume of this short-lived monthly journal. (we believe it ran for eight years).
