This spy novel, his first book, was in production when he drowned at Lake Norman in NC while trying to save two other people.

Let's keep out ties with dear old Piedmont. / Paul H. Neal." Additionally, there is a handwritten name and address on the final page of text. No copyright date. Appears to be a work of fiction.
