Book has only 2 flaws: (1) Scuffed but not worn extrems. (2)1934-5 school award inside front cover. . 10"x7", 468pp. Tight binding, book tends to stay closed when stood on its spine. Text block top edge almost clean as new. DJ with many 1" chips, resulting in loss of top two letters on the spine. Old external scotch tape repairs on DJ spine. All DJ edges internally re-enforced with archival tissue. Internally book as new, likely no boy ever used this book. .

Inscribed & SIGNED inside cover by Phyllis Condon, Condon's wife. 8vo, 287pp. . With laid in post card advertising Condon's 1940s Greenwich Village jazz club with his b/w photo holding a guitar. Book inscription reads: "Sept 7, 1948 To Gertrude and Matthew Cyran from somebody who really knew (underlined) the real(underlined) Eddie Condon, namely - Phyllis Condon". Condon died in 1973. .
