London and New York: Frederick Warne & Co, 1909. Second edition. 8vo. 64 pp. Color illustrations by Greenaway. Original half green cloth; glazed pictorial boards. Lacks front free endpaper, shaken, covers rubbed and with some pale staining; last leaf browned. Jane Taylor (1783-824) is the English poet and novelist best known for writting the lyrics to the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". The present edition, published by Warne, is the second; the first of 1882 must bear the imprint of George Routledge & Sons. Schuster and Engen 109, 2a.
