Portland, Oregon: Alvin S. Hawk. Good+. 1905. Revised Edition. Softcover. Wraps are very good with some soiling, but the map is splitting along two of the folds. Easily conserved. A lot of empty space, as Portland was being developed. Surprising how many street and place names have changed. ; 15x19 1/2"; 1 pages .

NY: Haasis & Lubrecht. Good+. 1866. Hardcover. In the (faded) original hard cover binder. The map is printed in at least 5 colors. Very attractive, but with some flaws. There is separation of about an inch at two of the folds (where two folds intersect) , and about 3" at a fold on the bottom right corner, and "pinhole" separations at several others. Unfortunately, while a very attractive & colorful map, someone has used ink to mark their trip from St. Joseph (on the Kansas/Missouri border) to San Francisco. Lots of colorful graphics, including various ships scattered on the oceans, list of presidents, census figures, a nifty chart of times & distances relative to Washington, D. C. , lady Liberty riding an eagle & waving a flag, etc. Even with the defects, I have to say this is one cool map. I find no record of this edition of this map, although I do find several of the later 1873 reprint. ; 48x40" .

San Francisco: A. L. Bancroft & Co.. Very Good. 1882. First Edition. Hardcover. Original decorated cloth folder is "fine". The map is very good or better. It has slightly been misfolded, and I have left it as-is. There is one split at a fold (with no loss, outside the image) , but the balance of the map is fine to very fine. The map is 33" wide by 42" tall, in three colors. ; Elephant Folio 23" tall .

One very small (~1/2") split on one outside seam. Otherwise, pretty amazing condition for such a fragile item. Small folding map of "vicinity of New-York" tipped inside the front cover. Original paper label on the front is slightly rubbed, but very legible. ; 22 1/2x19" .

"United States Government Reclamation Project" printed in red at the top, with a red circle around Hermiston. Spot of soil on the front cover. The map is printed in 3 colors. As-is. Folded in the covers, 3x5 1/2".; 16x14"; 1 pages .

Shanghai, China: Navy Y. M. C. A.. Very Good+. N.D.. Softcover. Some light pencil notes on the map. Could be erased, but they are part of the history of the map. Other than those, the map appears pretty much as-new. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 1 pages .

Indianapolis: National Map Company. Very Good+. N.D.. Hardcover. Usual small separations at some of the folds. No date, but based on the populations shown, probably 1925-1930. Linen backed, folded to 5 1/2x8" in a cloth cover. Printed in 3 colors. ; 50"x40"; 1 pages .

Department of Internal Affairs of Pennsylvania. Fine. 1890. Hardcover. In the original black cloth binding. The binding is only "good". Soiled, and mottled (age, not moisture). The paper inside is disintegrating. Surprisingly, the map inside in in nearly new condition. Looks as if it has never been opened. Just the least bit of age browning. ; ~4 1/2'x3' .
