With a typed letter, signed by the author dated 1937, recounting how he had been on the Windward taking relief to the Jackson-Harmsworth expedition at Vardo. He had left the ship at Vardo, and it had later retrieved Nansen from his Fram expedition.

Fortune Press, 1927, pp. 63. The preferred second edition with a new seven page preface by Alfred Douglas. Original cloth-backed boards. Spine ends rubbed, but good, sound condition.
