The second film in Hammer's Dracula series, sequel to the studio's 1958 film "Horror of Dracula," with Peter Cushing reprising his role as the vampire-slaying doctor. Set in Transylvania, shot on location in Buckinhamshire. Three photographs 8 x 10 inches, three photographs 7 x 9.5 inches. Generally Very Good, lightly toned and edgeworn. London: Rank Film Distributors / Hammer Film Productions, 1962. Vintage full-color British front-of-house card from the 1962 UK Hammer film. A costume melodrama of set in the 18th century, about a captain and his crew who are sent to investigate possible smuggling gangs. Mysterious swamp phantoms complicate things, and the captain believes the local village is not what it seems. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with a few moderate creases, and brief discoloration to one edge.

Culver City, CA: Columbia Pictures / Hammer Films, 1961. Deluxe publicity manual for the 1962 film. Based on H.L. Lawrence's 1960 novel "The Children of Light." An extensive publication, containing cast and crew lists and biographies, a synopsis of the film, stories from the film's production, and captions for still photographs (though the stills are not included with the manual). Joseph Losey's cult science fiction classic, in which a couple discovers a group of radioactive children who are being imprisoned and studied by the military, though their discovery inevitably proves fatal. Tall red illustrated wrappers. Title page dated August 1961. Mimeograph duplication, 121 pages, with a couple of xerographically duplicated pages bound in. Near Fine.

London: Hammer Films, 1971. Revised Draft script for the 1972 British horror film, here under the working title "Blood Will Have Blood." With manuscript annotations throughout that include additions to description and changes in dialogue. A classic from the Hammer canon, and the last film Hammer made in conjunction with Anglo-EMI, about a widowed aristocrat who keeps his two teenage children captive, fearing that they may have inherited a curse from their mother who recently killed herself. Complete with blood letting, incest, demonic possession, and a series of mysterious murders in the nearby woods. Shot on location in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and East Sussex, England. Red untitled wrappers with a die cut title window. An unusual contemporaneous Xerographic duplicated script, with copied line annotations on every page, except one script page and title page, with annotations in manuscript marker on versos of last three pages. Missing seven pages, likely as used or issued. The seventh Hammer Dracula film, the sixth starring Christopher Lee, and the first, since "Dracula" (1958), to star Peter Cushing in the role of Van Helsing. Preceded by "Scars of Dracula" (1970) and followed by "The Satanic Rites of Dracula" (1973). Dracula is brought back to life in modern London and preys on young party-goers, including Van Helsing's descendant, Jessica Van Helsing (Stephanie Beacham). Hammer Films' first adaptation of the Dracula story, generally thought to be the finest of the studio's many horror films to feature the Count, and simply one of the finest gothic horror films ever made. Christopher Lee introduced a more romantic, debonair take on the character, an approach that is still a mainstay of contemporary interpretations. With manuscript pencil annotation on the verso identifying the film and actors Peter Cushing and Stephanie Beachum. In 1872 Dracula is killed by a professor with a stake through his heart and then buried by his servant. In present day 1972, the great grandchildren of the professor and the servant accidentally resurrect Dracula and he wants revenge. Provenance stamp to the verso. Based on the 1961 novel "Nightmare" by Elizabeth Linington writing as Anne Blaisdell, about a woman who is stalked and terrorized by her deceased fiance's mother. Bankhead's final feature film before her death in 1968, produced hot on the heels of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" (1962) and "Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte" (1964). One with a printed mimeo snipe specific to the film's German release affixed to the verso, noting the film's German title, "Die brennenden Augen von Schloss Bartimore." A small village in the early twentieth century is terrorized by Megaera the Gorgon, a monster so hideous that even glancing at her face turns humans to stone. Set in eastern Europe. Based on the classic 1902 novel by Arthur Conan Doyle, the first adaptation of the novel to be filmed in color. Actor Peter Cushing would go on to reprise his role as the world's greatest detective in the 1965 BBC series "Sherlock Holmes," and in the 1984 television movie "The Masks of Death." Based on the 1945 play by Barre Lyndon "The Man in Half Moon Street." 104 year old sculptor Georges Bonnet (Anton Diffring) maintains a youthful appearance by having a victim's parathyroid glands surgically replace his own, but his partner and friend Dr. Weiss (Arnold Marle) had a stroke and cannot perform the surgery. He then blackmails an old flame's (Hazel Court) boyfriend, Dr. Pierre Gerard (Christopher Lee), into performing the surgery. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good, moderate creasing with a closed tear on the left side.

Although an ostensible remake of the hit 1932 Universal film, Hammer Film adaptation of this title borrowed its plot largely from Universal's "The Mummy's Hand" (1940) and "The Mummy's Tomb" (1942), with the climax taken directly from "The Mummy's Ghost" (1944). When British archeologists, led by John Banning (Peter Cushing), despoil the tomb of an Egyptian high priestess Princess Anaka (Yvonne Furneaux), they awaken her keeper and former, lover high priest Kharis (Christopher Lee). The only Hammer film to feature the actor combination of Lee, Cushing and Michael Ripper. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus to Near Fine, some light creasing, one with two closed tears and pinholes and one photo with top right corner clipped.

A team of archaeologists revive an Egyptian pharaoh, who subsequently seeks retribution for the violation of his tomb. The third in Hammer Films' Mummy cycle, preceded by "The Mummy" (1959) and "The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb" (1964), and followed by "Blood from the Mummy's Tomb" (1971). The final Hammer film to be produced at Bray Studios before the company's 1967 relocation to Elstree and Pinewood Studios. Set in Egypt. 7 x 9.5 inches. Very Good plus.

London: Hammer Films / Seven Arts, 1967. Collection of five photographs from the 1967 British American film, including one US studio still. One photograph with the stamp on a Spanish photo agency on the verso, a few with brief manuscript annotations. Released as "Slave Girls" in the UK and "Prehistoric Women" in the US. An explorer touches a mystical statute and finds himself in the distant past, where a tribe of brunette women enslave blonde women, whom he must help fight for freedom. Hammer reused the sets and costumes from the previous year's "One Million Years B.C." and would return to the same ouevre of scantily clad cave women with "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" (1970) and "Creatures the World Forgot" (1971). 10 x 8 inches. Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox / Hammer Films, 1966. Vintage pressbook for the French release of the 1966 British film. Text in French. The locals in a small Cornish village live in fear of attack by a gigantic, man-eating snake creature. Actress Jacqueline Pearce was the only Hammer actress to play two monsters: the snake-woman in this film, and a zombie in Hammer's 1966 film "The Plague of the Zombies." Hammer Film's second Frankenstein feature, "The Revenge of Frankenstein" was the sequel to "The Curse of Frankenstein," the 1957 adaptation of Mary Shelly's 1818 novel "Frankenstein." Baron Frankenstein (Peter Cushing) escapes his death sentence and flees to Germany and continues his experiments under the name Stein, this time transplanting his deformed assistant Karl's (Oscar Quitak) brain into a new body. 8 x 10 inches.
