Description:
Jerusalem: Israel explorations society, 1960. First printing. Good/fair. the pictures, beige interesting boards, Brown cloth bound spine gold titling on edge, where to head and foot of book, corners would dust jacket present although there is quite a bit of where to it ruffling, small tears not bad for something from 1960s. Books back then were much nicer, much better constructed. there is a certain amount of sun damage to areas of the jacket and the paper used in the jacket was not acid-free and may have gained some of the book, first page the interior the book is made of better paper has some pen and ink illustrations some photographs none in color, color separations at that point were very expensive to produce. Overall good shape interesting, as I thumbed it. Book jacket printed by Hadassah apprenticeships school of printing, Jerusalem. Designed by H. Freidlaender. .........Ruth Reaser LAX Vespa books are priced so after everyone else gets theirs, I get small profit to cover time, costs… Read More
