He traveled for 200 days, astride his loyal horse "Paul Revere", lecturing, often sponsored by members of the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic), donating the proceeds of his lectures to various GAR posts and ultimately to the monuments of George Custer, who died shortly after he began his journey.Captain Glazier had much to talk about, having served for three years led by Bayard, Stoneman, Pleasonton, Gregg, Custer, and Kilpatrick.
