Grey boards (slightly rubbed/marked) with black titling (quite rubbed/marked but all visible) to the spine. An illustration of a milking-cow, and black lettering/titling on the front cover. Generally quite clean. No dustjacket. This copy is Ex-'The War Office Library' and has a label on the front pastedown stating that such books are to be issued "only to Officers and Officials of the War Office". There is one stamp of the 'Director General Army Veterinary Service' 13 Jun 1918 on the front free endpaper and a different stamp on the top corner of the Title page 'General Staff Library War Office'. 12 Jun 1918.
