Harcourt & Brace 1943, First. VG/none. Rust orange boards with black titles to spine and illustration of young man on bike with dog chasing (delivering telegrams) . Also an illustration of a young boy on the spine. PO's signature on first fly leaf. Otherwise, a clean tight copy - no other marks. No DJ. The Human Comedya loving novel about a family during WWII. It was made into a movie starring Mickey Rooney , Fay Bainter and Frank Morgan. The book won a Pulitzer Prize, and the movie won an Academy Award for Best Picture. Rooney received an Oscar Nomination for Best Actor.
