Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the lower book edges. Browning to the extremely edges of the book and to the paper edges. On the free front endpaper is a pasted in "review copy slip", dated September 7, 1948. The dustwrapper is illustrated, same illustration as for front cover, with yellow background and red writing on the front panel and spine.
