With 2 text engravings and 6 stereoscopic plates on 2 folded photo-engravings after the original photographs realized at the Leiden Physiologisch Laboratorum. Clinical photography became inmense popular in the late 19th century. Eventually Röntgen's discovery made an end to the optimistic expectations of clinical photography (cf. Hans-Peter Kröner).
