This copy a little weary with old but unobtrusive creasing. GOOD in a publisher's white single-folded self-wrap. Ensconced now in a clear protective display sleeve with white carstock backing board.

Old tide-lines near bottom edge throughout, and a negligible nick at bottom edge of front panel. Good condition, withal. Small presentation inscription to previous owner by the author on the front wrapper, and "[Cambridge, Mass, Nov. 1958]" written in a neat hand below pamphlet title. And like Hal Smith in his 1943 book "On the Gathering of a Library," we "confess an affection for the presentation copy. The author had it in his hand. He turned its pages. He wrote in it his message of friendship or affection. Such a book is somehow consecrated. It has received an accolade and has been raised to the nobility (57)."
