An Ex-Library copy in publisher's gilt-lettered black cloth over blue boards, octavo, pp. xiv, 247. Two sections of black and white illustrations. Includes a section for each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Library stamps in several locations. Free front endpaper has been removed. Best thought of as a Reference or Reading copy.

Fourth edition stated, in decorated but faded green cloth, small quarto, pp. xxiv, 473 plus short catalogue of other titles available from the publisher. Complete with the 6 maps and 54 illustrations called for. A FAIR-only copy with extensive shelf rubbing. Spine ends and board tips are rubbed through. Hinges just beginning to show signs of tenderness. The fold-out map of South America is missing an upper panel with a small portion of the continent's Northern arc. The map's middle panel is present but separated from the intact bottom third. This middle panel has some margin missing and short tears, as well. A part of the lower fore-edge margin on page 271/272 is absent (see our image with pencil). A previous owner has attempted to draw a map on the final page of the index. On the plus side, there are some striking portraits of women, including A Lima Belle; A Market Woman; Four Pretty Sisters; A Wealthy Negress; A Paramaribo Creole; and A Cayenne Creole.

Hardcover, octavo, pp. x, 235. Very Good in the publisher's turquoise cloth with white spine and upper board lettering. Dust jacket was not issued with this title.

Hardcover, octavo, pp. 97. Illustrated with 6 color paintings; 27 black & white water colors; and endpaper maps. Very good in the publisher's beige cloth with blue upper panel lighthouse vignette and an attractive gilt & blue spine lettering arrangement. Good only dust jacket just a little weary from pre-mylar days, with light chipping at fold points & a sun-related discoloration at middle of the rear panel. Jacket now protected in a sheet of archival mylar.

Published for the Valentine, the Museum of the Life and History of Richmond. First printing, quarto, pp. xii, 361. Illustrations throughout. Very Good in the publisher's red cloth with spine lettering gilt. Illustrated dust jacket Very Good.

Approximately 6 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch souvenir mailing packet, circa 1940's, that unfolds accordion-style to reveal a cascade of 9 color illustrated panels, printed on both sides (18 images in addition to the Vestavia and Vulcan Iron Man images on the exterior stiff wrappers). Postmarked 1944. Very Good condition with just light rubbing to edges. Includes two panels of text. Housed safely now in a clear protective Ultra-Pro sleeve.

Published for the 1899 - 1900 season in green cloth with brown leatherette board tips, octavo, pp. 209. Illustrated with black and white plates and drawings. Previous owner has made very small "x" marks at places of personal interest. Some foxing. Shelf and handling wear. GOOD withal.

Publisher's green cloth, octavo, pp. xiii, 363. Endpaper maps. Line drawings and decorations by the author. Front endpaper map has a small worn patch near top corner where a price sticker might have been removed long ago. Dust Jacket a little weary from pre-mylar days with chipping and shallow erosion at spine ends and flap fold points. Nicks and short tears along perimeter. Jacket now in removable protective mylar.
