A very good hardcover, 1st edition, in dust jacket. Some bending at the corner and spine tips, otherwise a clean, tight copy in like dustjacket.. Bright and attractive. 186 pp., bibliography. Pat Williams, of Orlando Magic fame, provides his insights into the life principles and character of legendary coach John Wooden.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the free endpaper, "Bishop Mark Hurlye - To the successor of Bishop O'Connel in the counties of Del Norte, Siskiyou (crossed out), Humboldt, Mendocino, and Lake. John T. Dwyer." A good copy - blue hardcover with silver spine titles. Corners and spine ends bruised past the paper coverings. The interior is unmarked other than the author's inscription. Solid binding and hinges, though lacking tightness. The dustjacket is only fair with paper loss , tears, and tape reinforcements to the inside of the jacket. 302 pp., indexed, some black and white photos, and listings of bishops and pastors from the region. An interesting examination of Irish Bishop O'Connell and his work in the west.

San Francisco: Harper & Row Publishers, 1985. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. Signed without personalization on the title page, "Amor a Dios! Noel Francis Maholy, O.F.M." Hardcover, 1st edition, in dustjacket. A very good copy - clean, straight, and tight. The only noticeable flaw is a raised ridge on the spine column from binding - no splits or breaks in the text. The dustjacket is not as good with chips at the panel edges, a short tear to the bottom rear panel, and a couple of long creases - still bright and attractive. 224 pp., indexed, black and white photos and illustrations throughout. A detailed history of Serra's work in the founding of the Caliifornia missions, written prior to the public controversy resulting from the destruction of native culture.

Ireland: Published by the author, 2013. Paperback. Good. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page without personalization, "Best wishes & Thank you, Mark 24/04/2014." A second note on the copyright page appears to also be in the author's hand referencing a youtube video. Trade paperback in good condition, but with lifting and light bending at the corners and general shelf-wear to the cover edges. Binding is solid and pages are clean other than the noted inscriptions. 290 pp., the author's story of travelling to Mexico, living with the Aztec Tarahumara, and building Huisuchi catholic church. Color photos throughout.

Italy: Editor Velar, 1986. Hardcover. Good/good. Oversize hardcover with gilt titles in dustjacket, no indication of printing. A good copy, but with bumping to the lower corners and wear at the spine tips. Binding and hinges are solid though lacking tightness. Previous owner's inscription to the top of the title page appears to be the only marking. Dustjacket is also in good condition, with wear and crinkling at the tips of the spine panel, and general shelfwear around the panel edges. Still bright and attractive. 177 pp., filled with photos, text in English. A biography of Padre Pio, by one of Italy's most popular television commentators.

A good+ copy, verging on very good - but with a heavy bump at the lower spine/front joing and general wear to the corners and edges. The front fly-leaf is not securely bound in but the rest of the book is well bound. Pages are clean and unmarked. The dustjacket is clean and bright with light wear at the panel edges. 590 pp., indexed, some few black and white photos. The biography of an American historian and a mix of religion and constitutional studies.

Red and tan hardcover, second printing in dustjacket. A good copy but with soiling and staining to the cover edges and general shelf-wear to the boards. Interior is clean and unmarked other than the author's inscription. Binding and hinges are solid. The unclipped jacket is not so good with large tears especially spineward, soiling at the folds and overall fragility. 173pp., Gilberts first publication, detailing her life prior to and during her vows and entering the convent. An Oregon native, Gilbert was a well-known figure at Marylhurst, University of Oregon, and Pacific University.

A very good copy - bright and clean with some shelf-wear to the bottom edge of the front cover. 250 pp., black and white photos throughout. The inspiring story of a young man's determination to excel in spite of a debilitating injury in his youth.
