A very good copy, clean, straight and tight with the ghosting of a previous bookstore's price to the top of the limitation page. Unread. Slip case is also very good but with light dusting and shelf-wear to the upper and lower edges. No tears or dents. 438 pp., gilt textblock edges. A very nice copy of one of Shaw's classics.

A clean, unmarked, tight copy, as if unread. Unclipped jacket with minor crinkling at the upper folds is bright and atrractive, B&N sticker to the front panel. 468 pp.

White hardcover, 2nd printing of the collector's edition, in dustjacket. A good plus copy with scuffing and light soil to the white covers and shelfwear and bending at the spine tips. Interior is clean, bright and unmarked. Sturdy binding, lightly read. The gold jacket is very good with matching wear at the tips of the spine panel, bright and crisp. 444pp., plus additional content at rear, not available in the regular edition - a note from the author, short stories that inspired the work, and a sneak preview of On the Come Up. The story of Starr, the murder of her friend Khalil during a police stop, and her activism and struggle to try to find justice.
