New York: Hyperion, 2009. First edition. Hardcover. Good/very good. Signed without inscription by Eoin Colfer (of Artemis Fowl fame) on the title page. A good plus copy with bending at the spine ends and hard bump to the upper front corner. Interior is much better - clean, unmarked, and tight as if unread. Very good dustjacket has an "Autographed" sticker affixed to the front panel, otherwise just minor wear at the edges and folds. 275 pp., Colfer's addition to the Hitchhiker Trilogy.

Boston: Noreascon II, 1980. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good +. Green leatherette hardcover, 1st edition in dustjacket. Signed by both authors on the title page, "For Claudia - Damon," and "Kate (again) with love." A very good copy of this unique collector's item issued for world science fiction convention Noreascon II. Minor shelfwear at the edges. Clean, straight and tight. The dustjacket is good plus, cream-colored paper with title only to the front cover - moderate soiling to the light panels, shelf wear at the edges, and a crease to the front flap. 76 pp., short stories and poems by this husband and wife team.

New York: !tBooks, 2011. First edition thus. Hardcover. Near Fine/near fine. Luciano Lima and Dennis Calero. Hardcover 1st thus in dustjacket, autographed twice by creator Scott Rosenberg. On the front panel of the dustjacket in black sharpie, "To Joe. Best, Scott Rosenberg '11." and on the front free endpaper in silver marker, "Joe, You're great! Let's conquer the world! Scott Rosenberg '11." A near fine copy. Clean, tight as if unread and straight with square corners. Unclipped dustjacket is also near fine with just a couple spots of scuffing and a bump at the head of the spine panel. 103 pp., full color artwork - the 2011 reissue of Rosenbergs Cowboys & Aliens.

New York: Atheneum, 1978. Third printing. Hardcover. Good +/good. Brown cloth hardcover 3rd printing in dustjacket. A good + copy with bending at the spine ends and rubbing to the board corners. Previous owner's bookplate neatly to the front free-endpaper appears to be the only marking in the book. Binding is solid but lacking in tightness and has a bit of a creak. The upper corners of the first and last few pages have been bent, but straightened. Unclipped jacket is in good condition, still showing it's $8.95 price point. Flap corners are creases, minor wear to panel edges, and the spine panel ends have short tears. 202 pp., a nice copy of this 3rd Pern book, the first of the Harper Hall series.

New York: Spectra / Bantam Books, 1996. First printing. Hardcover. Fair/fair. Hardcover 1st printing in dustjacket. Heavy ex-library in fair only condition. This book has been handled and read by many adoring fans and then withdrawn because it's really heavily worn. It is a reader's copy only. Extreme wear to the cover edges with paper split to the boards. Tape from where the dustjacket was affixed to the covers. Withdrawn stamps and thumbing/darkening to the textblock edges. Binding is solid, hinges are intact. Pages are unmarked and no odors detected. Unclipped dustjacket is a bit better - also heavily worn at the panel edges, and lacking any crispness, but clean and not torn. 694 pp., basis for the most popular TV show of the 2010's. A scabby first edition is better than no first edition at all.

A fair to good copy with heavy wear to the edges and spine tips and some soiling to the covers. Interior is much better - clean and unmarked other than the author's signature. Solid binding, though lacking tightness. Unclipped dustjacket is good, colorful and bright with some crinkling and wear to the panel edges, most pronounced at the spine ends. 377 pp., the second book in The Sharing Knife series by Hugo Award winner Bujold.

New York: Doubleday, 1992. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. White hardcover 1st edition in dustjacket. Signed and inscribed by Raymond Feist on the title page, "To Sidney, Doug & Eric, All Best Raymond E. Feist." A very good copy with minor bending at the spine tips. A small spot of soil at the front edge. Binding and hinges are solid. Pages unmarked. Unclipped dustjacket is also very good with general wear at the panel edges - bright and attractive. 613 pp., the third book in the Empire series - other side of the Riftwar.

New York: Crown Publishing Group, 2011. First printing. Hardback. Fair/very good. Black hardcover 1st edition, 1st printing EX LIBRARY in dustjacket. Book is in fair condition, but 1st state dustjacket is very good, having been protected in brodart by the library. Book Condition Notes: Library stamp to the top textblock edge, along with a withdrawn stamp, and an RFID tag to the front pastedown appear to be the only library markings. Bending to the corners and crimping and wear at the spine tips. But the worst damage is the damp warble to the textblock, visible in the photos. Notation in pen to the rear free endpaper appears to be the only writing. Dustjacket condition: Original $24 price intact on the front flap and "Crown Publishers New York 8/11" on the rear flap indicating the first state dustjacket without the bestseller blurb to the front panel. The book is in near fine condition with some wear at the extremities of the spine - otherwise a clean, straight, tight copy. Unclipped jacket is very good with short chips and bending at the head of the spine and a bit of scuffing at the panels. 295 pp.
