South Carolina: CokerCraft Press, 1987. Hardcover. Very Good/fair. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "January 1988 To George Duggan with best wishes, P.C. Coker III." A very good copy, with no indication of edition. Clean blue cloth with silver titles and illustrations. Minor dust and speckling to the text block edges and a hard bump at the top center of the rear board edge. Corners and spine ends straight. Solid binding and interior is clean an unmarked other than the author's inscription. The dustjacket is much worse - fair at best with a 4 inch tear up fold between the spine and the front panel and damp staining to the inside bottom of the rear panel - not reflected on the book. Chips, tears and scuffing - an unfortunate jacket for a very nice book. 314 pp., indexed, illustrations in color and black and white throughout. A beautiful book once you take the jacket off.

Oregon: Garibaldi Books, 2000. First edition. Paperback. Good. Softcover signed without inscription by the author under his name on the title page. Some bending and creasing to the upper corners, otherwise a clean bright and solid copy of this title. 143 pp., the tale of an Oregon shipwreck by a local historian.

Sussex: The Book Guild, 1984. First edition. Hardcover. Good +/good +. Black hardcover 1st in dustjacket. A good plus copy with a minor tilt forward at the spine. Edges and corners with minor shelf-wear. The interior is unmarked and the binding and hinges are solid. Unclipped jacket in tri-tone blue with darkening at the edges, especially noticeable on the flaps, minor wear at the panel edges. 183 pp., Best's autobiography of his efforts to earn the title of Master Mariner and the experiences that went with it.
