Signed and inscribed by the author on the copyright page, "Joy & Ken, Many thanks for your support, it's so appreciated. Enjoy the enclosed story, however long it takes to read. Cheers, all the best. Johnny Anderson xxx 3-5-11." A very good copy with minor bumping at the top edge of the boards and bending to the upper corner of the first few pages. A solid heavy binding, text unmarked other than the inscription. Dustjacket is bright and attractive. 652 pp., Self-published through lulu, most likely a first and only edition of the hardcover. Anderson hitchhiked his way across Australia, Canada and the U.S. and these are the stories of his travels.

Unclipped jacket with matching minor bumping at edges, no tears. 420 pp., indexed, color photos at center. Mortenson's continued work promoting peace through education in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
