An edition limited to only 200 SIGNED, NUMBERED copies by the author. As usual, a handsome book, from this distinguished publisher. Fine in d.j.

[n.p.]: [Roy A. Squires], 1974. [First Edition]. An eight-page, long poem, printed from handset types, upon fine papers, handsewn, in an edition of only 218 copies.Roy A. Squires was an old-school practioner of the art/craft of typesetting, every letter/spacing, set and printed by hand. Glenn Lord saved some of Howard's best, unpublished poetry to be printed by Squires. As new.

[Glendale, CA]: Roy A Squires, 1979. First Edition. The first publication of this lost Martian Chronicle story. Published in an edition limited to 230 signed, numbered copies, this copy is additionally signed by the artist Andrew Smith. Lovely find press booklet, printed from handset types upon handmade papers. The penultimate publication by Squires before his Bibliography. A fine copy in d.j.

West Kingston, R.I. : Donald M. Grant, 1982. First Edition. An exotique tale, for a time mistakingly thought written by Clark Ashton Smith, but soon after proven not to've been written by CAS. However it does exist with his name, and it will always remain a curious error of wishful bibliographic thinking. The introduction lays out the errant mythodology. The illustrations by R. J. Krupowicz would've suited Smith's exotique prose beautifully. The book is limited to 1250 copies and signed by the artist. As new in d.j.

New York: Berkeley/Putnam, 1978. [First Edition]. No, NOT the James Cameron movie., but this being an alien race leaves mankind a STARGATE. SIGNED on the title-page by the author. Near fine in d.j.

San Francisco/Columbia, PA: Underwood-Miller, 1982. [First Hardbound Edition]. A suspense thriller, by John Holbrook Vance. Copy #21 of 200 numbered, signed copies. Fine in d.j.

New York: Greenberg, 1952. [First Edition]. The author began his fiction career in Science Fiction but soon graduated to the more lucrative field of Detective/Thriller/Murder, in the paperback boom of 1960's, until finally establishing himself in fiction immortality with his popular character, Travis McGee. A nice, tight copy of the author's 2nd SF novel, very good copy, in paper over boards hardcover, with a 1/4" closed tear to d.j., and a few snags.

Sauk City,: Arkham house,, 1966.. [First Edition]. Sixteen tales, mostly from WEIRD TALES. Only 1952 copies of this title printed. Two bottom corners just nubbed, else a fine, fresh copy in Lee Brown Coye, d.j.

This is NOT your old standard, lousy paper and paper-over-boards edition that we're all familiar with. This is a heavier binding, printed upon nice acid-free paper. Edited by Andrew Wheeler. Jack Vance was the Guest of Honor at the 1979, World Fantasy Convention, and his work is represented with a one-page sampler from THE BOOK OF DREAMS, an 6-page bibliographical checklist of the author by Daniel Levack, a six-page excerpt from THE AVATAR'S APPRENTICE, a 12-page portfolio of illustrations by Virgil Finlay, George Barr, Stephen Fabian, Jack Gaughan, and others. Photographs of the authors in attendance, such as Vance, Harlan Ellison, Robert Bloch, Fritz Leiber, Karl Edward Wagner, and many others. A fine copy, issued w/o d.j.

West Warwick, RI: Necronomicon Press, 1977. First Thus.. The eighteenth booklet published by NP. This almost facsimile, blown up twice its original size, reproduces the legendary rarity by Robert H. Barlow, of his forty copy edition. I have owned two copies of the original printing in my more than fifty years of collecting, but with the time remaining me, not likely to own another! 550 copies printed. As new.

New York: Hill & Wang, 1969. First American Edition. Three novellas: 'The Cell;' 'The Hunter;' 'The Dead End.' Three tales of murder: Is the murderer in 'The Cell,' a werewolf, or your common variety, serial killer? A prolific writer in numerous genres, and under numerous pseudonyms, David Case, long ignored/forgotten in the horror genre, is now, three years after his death, being exhumed to his rightful place. Thie was his first book. The first very scarce printing was UK, but even this American is difficult. Some dusting and foxing at top page edges, and traces on rear panel; two short 1/3" inch closed tears to d.j., and at foot of rear board. A very good copy in v.g.-, d.j.
