It is bright and crisp with light rubbing and slight creasing. Rear panel has has minor damage, 1/4" closed tear with small dent below and a small scratch.

Front and back end papers are red moire', and it is chock full of full color photos of the unbelievable treasures of Imperial Russia. Spine has a 1/2" X 1/4" white spot near base. Slip case is matching green cloth and is bright, clean and sound with very little wear. Great gift for art or history lover!
